Water Heater Leak and Cleanup

When a water heater breaks it can cause flooding in your basement. This home in West Valley City had a water heater leaking for a few days causing a mold growth on drywall. The mold could have been a lot worse if the homeowner didn’t catch the damage as fast as they did. Their insurance company called us and had us take a look and we found the leak and more water problems under and behind the drywall. Removal of the black mold was the only way to assure that the home would be free of mold spores. We had the whole place cleaned and mold free before the new water heater was in place.
